This will no longer come as a surprise to many, but we also cannot escape price adjustments for our products, which we are confronted with on a daily basis. The successive crises of recent times have led to a renewed scarcity of various raw materials and the resulting price increases are therefore extremely worrying.

We also did not expect that:

We would have a corona outbreak in the world….We also did not expect that: That because of corona there are slaughterhouses that are forced to close……

We also did not expect that:

Fishing vessels with an excessive consumption will remain in the harbor!

We also did not expect that:

There would be a great scarcity due to the outbreak of bird flu in the Netherlands and France.

We also did not expect that:

Poultry breeders who no longer start breeding poultry in these times because of the bird flu.

We also did not expect that:

Brexit has ensured that there are difficult and even no imports of lamb products from England.

We also did not expect that:

That it is difficult to conclude a new energy contract for the expansion of our building due to the growth of our company.

We also did not expect that:

Prices for packaging and plastic have gone up.

We also did not expect that:

Prices of fuel and energy, among other things, continue to rise to historically high levels!

We also did not expect that:

There would be a war in Ukraine that provides us with grain for poultry and is a supplier of sunflower oil with all the dramatic consequences that would ensue………

We also did not expect that:

We are currently receiving daily price increase announcements from various suppliers dealing with the same circumstances I just described to you above. There are suppliers who have even switched to weekly and even daily price indexation of raw materials such as meat, cardboard, plastic, energy and fuel.

Naturally, our first priority is the production and delivery of your products. We therefore do everything we can to guarantee continuity for you in the coming period, but we cannot do this without your help. For the time being, we can still obtain raw materials and raw materials are available, so it is therefore not necessary to hoard products.

In short, no one expected this and we cannot point a finger at certain things in life that we have no control over, we will have to deal with it, accept it and move on no matter how difficult it is.

Also behind our family business are people who, just like you and me, are affected by these developments. Just like you, we are also in the supermarket, petrol pump and we see the price increases that we must pay. At the end of the month, we also receive an invoice for electricity or gas, which means that we also turn down the heating at home or even turn it off.

That's why we ask for a little understanding so that we don't have to explain to different customers every day why the prices have gone up. We assume that this is visible to everyone in society that prices have unfortunately increased.
